slowly I made my way up the stairs,,,I was tired and the stairs seemed to me as Mt. Everest. I made my way into the room,,,took off my shirt,,,and bra,,,then noticed him staring at me,,,not moving. He was like absorbed in the moment. Removed my shorts,,and still he just sits there,, frozen in time. I put on my "whatcha ma callick".....Then crushed him....I hate spiders!!! That was like the 4th on this month. Which is really weird in all of the years I have been here think this is the most.///The picture of the boat is MINE,,,yup that's my yaht,,,red kneck version. As I look at the pic,,,the river looks very small,,,must have been the angle. Such a tranquil moment I just had staring at that pic. Last 2 times on Island I forgot my cell and no lap top,,,it was like being so carefree. /// Today at work was nice,,,I had a luncheon,,,there was 6 of us ,,,food was great,,conversation,,,ah,,so-so--my pt. Grandson is scitzo and think he was off his meds. But other than that it turned out good. Right now it is raining,,,a nice rain,,,wish I was camping. I love the sound of rain ,,,I find it so relaxing,,,a mater of fact too,,I am hitting the bed...Happy Trails :>)

Island wishes,,,,"Very Perty"

This is another shot from my island. Oh how I longed to be back there again today. The weather was great most of the day. And I kept pretty busy at work. Did my garden thing here,,,made a bird house out of a old apple guard. Kept my patient pretty busy with small taskes that she could handle. Played a bunch of old tunes for the music therapy of it. She loved it and I got used to listening to Frank Patterson,,and George Cohen,,,Bill Doggett,,over and over again. But one time slip in my Mozart and she doesn't like it. There are no words for her to realiate I guess,,,and it must make her mind go crazy. The workers where working pretty close to the house today,,,witch at times made me feel a little uneasy. I noticed this one bald guy come out of no where ( between the apple rows) and head down to barn and get on fork lift,,,,I assumed he was stealing it,,,,and hopped in my truck to go to end of road to write down plate numbers. But lucky for him I tell ya he was just moving some apple crates around by the storage. {P} must have hired him. And then later on as I was out after working ours,,taking pictures of the apple in it's young stage,,,,i noticed a Jamaican heading towards me,,,or up the road where I wondered why he would be going that way then,,,I headed back on deck and he disappeared between another row of apple tree's. Now As I sit her in my PJ's wondering who is peaking in the windows,,,yikes Yup "Shure do wish I was back on that Island now" Morrow is my luncheon,,,,all is made,,( the freakin Martha Stewert in me)...But for that I am glad. Easy day then. Will leave here early,,,have a HHA coming at 9...I will go to gym,,,and then be back in time for company. If it brings a dash of hope and happiness to my patient it will make my job worth a million----Happy Trails :>)

My weekend

This is a shot from our island. It is a private island owned my uncle. And belonging to all in the family. So far this year no one has been enjoying it but me and {J},,,and least not forget the dog,,Bingo. You can see Rip Van Winkle in the back drop of it. It sits in the Hudson River. We were out there 2 days in a row,,,taking my tiny tin boat out on the Hudson. Felt very funny riding in that when the bigger boats go by,,,,Thought for sure they thought,,,that was all we had. Next week we are taking the big boat out!!! The island was nice and tranquil.{ I wrote all about it this am,,and as I did that... I downloaded something on putor,,,and froze it all up. I tried walking away from pc for a hour so It could figuar it all out on it's own,,,,but when I went back to it ,,,still frozen and had to pull the whole plug on it all}. This piece of drift wood I wanted yesterday to take home,,,,I planned on having {J} cut it half way down the log part,,,I even showed him it. He agreed to do that for me,,,and I was going to shellac it and put it in the side yard......But as I look at it now,,,,I think it was meant to belong where it is. Grant it the picture still would be nice with out it,,,but with it in it is much better. And perhaps some one else might pass this way and see the beauty in it. Where it was taking just a few feet from that shot is a large tree that Eagles hang out on. When we approached the island on Sunday 3 were perched up in it,,,,ans 2 others farther down the beach. They were hunting the waters looking for herring and strippers. We did see a few Caracas of strippers,,,not sure if they were from the birds or just died on their own.. Also saw a lamprin eel dead which was a reminder for me to watch the waters. They also come up the river during spawning and go after the herring. When I was a kid I used to see tons of herring with their guts ripped out,,,,my uncle told me they were from the eels. Since then I try to stay out river till herring has passed. Was a real nice weekend and felt good to be home a bit. { J } did all the cooking and he did a great job on his salads. Got to cyber with a few of my pals and that was nice. My cyber friend Bill bought a pair of blue diamond earrings,,,,nope not for me even thou birthday is approaching,,,,for his wife,,,,I told him he must have screwed up bad or he is just a sweetheart. Think the later is more like it. And now I am back at work. And here I shall be for a few days. My patients nephew {85years} is up from Florida for summer. I invited him and his son over for a late lunch,,,early supper on Wensday. Should be nice. His son has some issues,,,scitzo and all but he is pretty cool,,,and is always nice to his great aunt,,,my patient so should make for a interesting meal. The last meal last year,,,he enjoyed so he licked the steak knife,,blade facing in....This year we will not be serving any caffeine drinks. Time to close all the lower windows and ventue on up to my room,,,,Happy Trails!!!

The day,,,May 27th,{so creative,,5th in the gene pool}

well it was nice,,I forgot where my pms went,,but I think it took a break. it usually lasts a week. Work at the PO was good. For that being a hard job,,,where I pictured some one else doing it while I went to the nail palor. Well I arrived 1/2 later than the guys,,,but managed to beat them in every way ,,,the child in me that makes This job a game. Finished by 4pm and met {J} and went to supper,,yup I paid again,,need to figure and sort that out. Grant it we have been together over 20 years,,,,he pays all bills. But just once I would like to go on a date and he fork the bill. Any how supper was nice,,,it was a buffet---I had salad,,grape leaf thingy,,piece of prime rib,,and I was full. We went for a drive before I headed back to my other job-No parking,,,guess after a while that sorta thing dies down. The girl at work had every thing done when I got there. Plus she left a few of her catalogue's,,,,,Roaman's around. I picked it and had a good laugh,,,,The cover Roamans...Intimate promise...Your style,,,your size,,,12w-44w,,all I thought was try getting cozy with that 44w. Shoot me if I ever get there,,,or even at 12w. Well that's the day in a nut shell....sorta,,,morrow new things,,a whole day with {J }...Hope I appreciate all the beauty that the day brings.......Need to chill the Zinefield,,,,Happy Trails-....:>)

And a holiday weekend,,,the weather here is going to be great,,in the 80's,. Perfect weather for boating and hanging out on our Island. {J} is going to make all the salads and do all the cooking so all I have to do is look cute and enjoy my self. I bought this airbrush tan for legs,,and I already have a tan on them ,,,so I sprayed it on anyhow and I love it. It makes your legs look perfect,,,as if they are freshly shaved which I didn't have time to do this am.. Yesterday at work I went out in the garden to plant some tomatoes and noticed right next to me was a pit bull. Now I like dogs,,all dogs but them. I think the media and all the bad rap you hear about them really makes me distrust them. Well I talked to it and didn't show I was scared and made my way back to the house. About 2 hours later these 2 "Boys from the Hood" are walking around the farm calling the dog. I told them I saw IT,,,2 hours earlier,,,they said they got that one they are looking for the male dog now. Great I thought another freaking pit bull,,ugh. Lucky for me I did not spot him all night. I have 4 stray cats on the farm that hang out with me on the porch and all I thought is that dog grabbing one of my pets. I kept my mace handy. Spoke to my boss and he told me no more pets,,,as if I would want that dog,,,now if it was a German Shepard that would have been different. Well now it's off to my post card reading job,,,,Hope it all goes quick,,,Happy Trails....Cheers!!

Rainbows of colors

This is one of the green house my patients son owns,,,I lost count to how many there are there.
The plants there are all so healthy looking . It was kinda hard to decide which ones I wanted. For a plant person to be able to go to a green house and pick what ever you want and how many you want is sorta like winning the lottery. I finally managed to plant all the ones I took and my flower beds look great,,,of course my back is killing me thou....Yesterday I really think I had a major bout of pms. Felt better after I went to my House hold tech. job and talked with my friend { A },,,She kinda helped me put a perception on it. After I got done there,,,I headed home to put less clothes on,,,the weather is nice,,,75 degrees at 11:30 am. I met {J} and he bought a sub for us to split and we took the little boat out to our island and had a picnic,,it was fun. We then for the hell of it decided to drop a net out and see what we could catch,,,,no fishing tales here,,,we got nadda. There was just 3 other boats out all day,,so we sorta had the whole river to ourselves,,,which is always cool. Things that catch my eye and thought

This photo I love. It is on a back road,,close to a major highway, and when ever I drive past it,,,it makes me wonder.....Perhaps in the 50's it was used. Now it stands still and slowly disingrates,,,and dwindles away. I woke up tired today,,,got up at 3am with my patient,,,and could hear the tractors starting up already. It was cold out about 40 degrees,,,thank God I got to go back to bed. Up at 6am and started reading,,,another D.S. novel,,,called Daddy. Think it made me sorta depressed already. It is about this lady in her 40's,,,and she does have it pretty good. A stay at home mom,,,with a cleaning lady and a nanny for her 3 kids. A good looking husband with a great job, making the big bucks,,,but yet something is missing for her. It goes to say how when you are 20 and you have all these dreams and goals in life and they slowly disappear with out you realizing them,,,and then your 40. Makes me wonder what happened to my dreams of then. Did I ever have any. Is this how I pictured my self and what I would be doing? All my friends and family have families of there own,,,and I have him and a dog,,and a cat. Is that enough for me,,,Am I content? I just ate a piece of chocolate and feel a little better,,,but it makes you wonder,,,Is this a pms moment....How many more shall I have before I sit alone in a field like this barn.,,,Well enough of this downer crap,,,need to get a move on,,,,Happy Trails,,,And lighter thoughts,,,Cheers!!!

The view.....

I always try to get a room way up highand overlooking the river. It's funny because I I don't like heights or even elevators,,,but for the view it's worth it. Usually when the weather gets warmer you see lots of bats,,,going after the bugs at night. This time we saw a Eagle,,,or he saw it,,,I only saw Hawks. We left there pretty early and headed to Foxwoods where I only blew $40 bucks,,,then to Planet Hollywood for lunch. I had my taste buds craving this shrimp dish for a appetizer,,,but they just changed the menu and that no longer was on it. I had my usual fixings,,,salad and a steak. It was cooked to perfection. Our waitress was very good but always am amazed at how people look. I think at this place the aim to hire those that look like rockers,,,or wanna bee's. With numerous tattoos and earrings in various spots that you see and some you can only imagine. We left there and traveled down 95 towards Rockyneck state park,,,,andhit a stand still in bumper to bumper traffic. As we got closer I could sorta make out the accident it looked like it could have been a van of sorts smashed into the woods and flattened like a pancake. I hope that who ever was in there did not suffer much,,,I doubt they made it out sadly to say. We traveled on and got home at 4pm,,,I unpacked and packed up again for work. Got here yesterday at 5:15,,,so not bad and here I am now. Yesterday I took my patient on a outing to her son's green houses,,and store. He made the comment how I am like a kid in a candy store,,,And I always said that about going there. I got 3 hanging baskets and a trunk load of plants,,,I need to get back there and get more for home,,,I only got about 8 for my house and the rest for my gardens here. Which I am here more than there. I just love planting and picking fresh flowers for the house. Today if the blazer starts I will go on a 4 hour break and hit the gym then home,,,perhaps we will go on the big boat for lunch. Yesterday I had to move my blazer and the battery was dead,,,I had a extra battery and cables and tried to jump it but it scared me,,,so he had to come,,and bitch,,,went in the house to check on patient and told her he's bitching already,,,she laughed. Seems as he had to push the blazer he was yelling for me to straighten the wheel,,,,I heard TURN THE WHEEL,,,,so on with the lecture like I am a child and stopped listening to him,,,I heard,,yadda yadda yadda. Any how thanked him for his trouble and away he went and my peaceful enjoyable day began,,,,Now it's off to begin again,,,Happy Trails!!!

The Trip...

I left work at 7;30 in the morning,,headed to car wash,,,usually he does that for me the day before,,,but he was busy doing his thing,,(hanging out at club,,,bartender for a bachelorete party) Thing it must have been hard all day listening to a bunch of 20 something giggley little chicks,,,I chose that word on the nicer note,,wanted to put Ho's in there but really they were not. Went tanning and got home at 9am,,,exact time we planned to leave,,,,but I neededto pack. Threw everything I needed together in 12 minutes,,,cosmetics,,clothes,,gym clothes,,bathing suit. Did not forget a thing,,in other words I over packed as usual for a over night trip. The Mas. Pike was pretty good,,not much traffic,,the other roads forget it,,,I couldn't really enjoy my DVD I was watching. He still is on the verge of road rage,,,And lately I noticed he is becoming a rubber knecker,,,looking all around at the new buildings,,,scenery and what ever. Our first stop was Newbury Port. That is one of my favorite little towns,,(,We did get off the busy road early,,I couldn't stand the traffic,,and cut thro a bunch of little towns that we will explore at a later date). Newbury was very busy,,,I couldn't believe all the folks,,,almost like summer. We headed up to Seabrook and looked around,,then it started to rain,,,,we hit the N.H. liquor store for wine and got a bite to eat at Micky D's,,,,Not my choice. Then headed down to Mohican sun. Arrived there at 4;30. Our room was great as always,,,on the 26th floor over looking the river. I went and got a big bag of ice to pour in the sink and keep our drinks cold,,,besides the wine/beer,,there was soda,,juice and tea. After that I went down to get our tickets for the show,,,We were going to see Rick Springfield at 7pm. I then blew a few hundred in a $5 machine,,,all with in 1/2 hour. Got back up to the room and He told me they delivered a refrigerator,,,,humm,,,made me wonder if there was a hidden camera around,,,,how did they know we could use that,,,they already have a weight controlled refrig,,stocked with their beverages and snack. They have $12 bags of peanuts in there and $3.50 beer...$2.00 soda. Just made me wonder. The show we saw was great. I was unfamiliar with Rick,,,but he put on a great show. It got over around 8;30,,,,to late to go to the buffet and fill up on a meal so we headed back to room and by 10pm,,,,we were both hungry and got room service. They top a 18% gratuity charge on it,,plus a $1 per person set up. I didn't have any small bills for a tip,,,and he said don't worry it is included,,,in the charge. Well the next morning I had a bill under my door for the tip. It wasn't much just $4.75. So now I know,,,I always tipped before so that was never a issue till this time....Well I am at work now so I have to end now and like do some actual work. I will continue with the trip and hopefully find my camera cord so I can post some pics,,,,Happy Trails for now!!!Cheers!!

Calmness....Mellow Yellow

If pictures could speak,,,this definitely would put you in a mellow mood. I remember hiking and walking up a hill,,the smell of the fresh woods around you and listening to the sounds of nature. It was not raining that day but from the overflow of days gone by, I came upon this site of nature. The fern flourishes with the moisture. Like people do when they are loved. The scene was very relaxing....Which brings me to other thoughts....Today was a mail day. It was busy but that is usual. It is a very busy type of job,,,there is 3 different routes in the office. It always amazes me about the people that complain. Not on my route but the other 2 routes. All routes have like over 400 different people,,and you have to know who lives where,,who left and all that crapla. Well I have been doing it a long time,,and lucky for me my mind is still sharp. And no one complains about a occasional screw up. But on the other routes they write all over the mail and feel it is their civic duty to get on the computer or phone or fax machine and complain. I really think these people need to take a chill pill and relax. I think they feel they are the only person on a route,,hello you are like one of many. And if you feel your carrier is not doing a good job and getting your mail where it should go,,,get a Post office box and see if they do any better. I feel sorta sorry for the other carriers that bust their arses,,and have a few anal retentive customers that the only thing they have going for them is to complain about their service,,,then they even bitch about the price of a stamp. Try wearing your carriers shoes for a week and see how that is,,,whew I need to look at that calming picture again. On a lighter note,,,I am back at my second job/home. All is pretty calm here,,,pt. Is sleeping,,,,the migrant workers are playing their music at a average level. No fights breaking out,,,or peepers in the window. Well not so sure on the later,,,still remember the time I saw foot prints in the snow up to a few windows and tracked them down to the road. Time soon to get a good sleep ;>0. On the morrow getting off work early ,,,7:30 am,,,,and heading to the beach. Going up to N.H. for the day then heading down to Mohican Sun. With numerous stops at favorite spots along the way. Going to see a show Sunday night,,,think Bruce Sprinfield,,,he sang "jessie's girl",,,think it is old,,,and not even sure I got the name right,,,but should be fun. Engulfed

May 19,,,The rain continues to pound on the roof. As if a orchestra was on it with just small drums. Wonder how the dams are holding up,,,There was a article in the local paper about the Gilboa dam,,,and if flood levels reach eight feet above it will break,,,putting pressure on this dam here and causing a tsunami. Where many might not escape if they were nuzzled in there beds. My brother has a house right on the river up there. He is fixing it up and for the mean time not able to live in it yet. Hope by the time it is all redone,,the dam will become safe and remain so for our life time at least. Which brings me to another thought....I am in love again,,,I finally had to tell him last night there is some one I have a crush on,,it took it very well as I described his dark hair and his sky blue eyes,,,and what a beautiful person this guy is. His name is Nate,,,I met him watching the Oprah show,,,he is a regular guest on there. He lost his partner in the big Tsunami,,my heart broke as he told about it,,,,it was hard for him,,,but now perhaps he there is a chance....The first step is meeting him,,,,hummm how can I become a guest on the Oprah show and have my house remodel...Nate would do a great job as usual. Well it is nice to now on this rainy dreary day I have some fantasy to get me by and make my sky blue and thoughts SUNNY. As I decide to go get dressed real cute and have a birthday breakfast with my boyfriend,,,,sure hope he likes his new nickname,,,,Nate. Again,,,life on the farm

At times it can be very amusing to be here. Was awoken at 6am to hearing my patient rattle the railing on her bed,,,I said whatcha doing,,,and we both started laughing,,,she explained to me she was trying to figure how to get them down so she can go in kitchen and put a rabbit in the oven for us for breakfast,,,I told her don't worry about it,,,I have breakfast already planned. She is a sweetheart but dementia is starting to get the better of her.,,,We both went back to sleep for a couple of hours. I had break today for 4 hours and got to go do my own"thang" for a bit,,,did the tackle upcoming birthday present,,,for him,,,I got gift cards for various stores. On the morrow taking him to a new restaurant,,,that has been here for years we just never made it to there yet,,,should be interesting me being a food critic. Got back to work and about 20 or so of the help was blocking the driveway playing some sorta Spanish ball,,,was interesting to watch them scramble as I come speeding in. Must say they all looked very healthy. Got up to the house and noticed another group of workers mowing lawns and weed eating around the other camp,,,and asked them if they can help me in the garden,,,There is a spot that the big lawn mower can not do,,and it was getting high,,,The guy understood much of what I asked him to do,,,and did do a very attentive job,,,just took down my Hibiscus bush and a row of spinach,,,and peas,,,but other than that it looked great. I felt like I was on a Northern Plantation. These folks all work very hard and they don't mind helping which is great...Well that basically was my day,,inbetween a few laughs and yadda,,,Hope you had happy trails,,Cheers:>)

May 16th....

Well ...It is 3 days away from his birthday,,and I have nothing special to give him. Putting a bow on myself has wore out years ago,,,After about 3 years of prancing around with a bow on your head for your mate on their birthday looses its appeal. Thought I would get him a power washer but he is just too fussy about details on man tools. I think all guys are like that,,,,they need to pick out their own crap.///This picture I took at work,,,think I might have posted it before but what the heck I like it so here it is again....The clover on the top looks like it is only 3 pedals but it really is 4. I just love looking for clovers they seem to have a magic about them and bring me good luck. I have a favorite gold chain that I wear daily that has a four leaf clover on it wit a emerald in the middle. Emeralds,,Rubies and Diamonds are my favorite jewels,,,and all in that order. At work now and patient is asleep,,,we are going to have a boring day unfortunately,,,,The son took the house car on us,,,and still has not returned it so no going out,,,,nothing to bake,,,and TV,,really bores her,,,she can not comprehend it any longer and gets lost after 5 minutes of any show,,,it's a bitch to getting old. I refuse to do it.///I have a cyber friend that really has a great job,,,but I don't think they realize it,,,He works 3 ,,,14hour days,,,Friday,,Saturday and Sunday,,,then he spends his time on a boat all week. He has cable hooked up to his marina,,,Oh how I wish our club had that,,,I would spend all my free time on our boat. Not that I would constantly watch TV,,,but you have the option to if you wanted,,,so cool. Well avoid the rain drops,,,they are still coming down,,,Things in Peabody, MA aren't looking so good these days with all the flooding,,,the roads there are rivers. We will be heading up and past that area this weekend for his birthday celebration,,,since it only comes once a year we like to make it last a week or so,,,,perhaps it shall finally stop raining and it will be a beach day. Sunny Days and Sky Blue

Well at least it was on this day here. I love this shot,,I call it my Erotic Art work. I was laying on the beach and decided to melt a ice cube on my legs and take a photo,,,he was next to me and thought it was weird. I thought it was fun. It reminds me of the joke the difference between Kinky and erotic behavior,,,Erotic you would use a feather and kinky you would use the whole chicken. I'll stick with erotic. Today was a cold rainy damp day. Seemed like it took me forever to leave the house,,I got up at 8am and watched a good movie on Hallmark channel,,it was called "My Louisiana Sky",,, I really enjoyed it and would watch it again,,He shall pass on it next showing. Then i did something daring,,,I wore my white caprice with black panties. This girl at work told me that you are suppose to wear black under white and you don't notice them. I thought she was crazy,,usually I wouldn't wear any or a pair of thongs and you would never notice it. But today I decided to try her advice,,,you couldn't tell, I even asked him if he could see what color my under wear was under here,,he said ya,,,white! Fooled even the closest eye. Made it to the gym by 11 am. Was talking to this girl up there and she was done with her work out and on her way to get drunk,,she told me her knew boyfriend was a achoholic,,and even spikes his am drink so now she was going to spend the day with him and get plastered. I told her why would you even want to go out with him,,,sounds like wasting a great day,,,she told me she was lonely. Think If I had the choice I would just stay alone till something better came along. Guess when you set your sights low that is what you get. Thank God I am for the sky. Left there feeling good about who I was,,,wish she would not have such low self esteem. I had to the store at 1pm,,to get things for my luncheon,,,on a empty stomach,,,,wrong time to shop!,,,I found a nice portabella quiche,,,then I got a citrus breeze salad,,,and 4 crab cakes,,,and big shrimp and sea scallops. Got my mom and headed to my patients house we had a great lunch,,,Whipped up a scampi sauce for the seafood,,,and had that over pasta. Every one loved the meal.( I had to go back and edit,,,,I reread the blog after I wrote it,,and it ended with every one loved the Me,,,,not meal or anything else I wrote after that,,,yikes,,,that was Tupid,,,and now forget what else I said,,,It could have been good too,,lol,,any way enjoy your Happy Trails,,,Cheers!!!

Comfort.....

Ahh,,,the feel of hot sand under your feet,,,you welcome it at first being the beginning of the season,,for like the first 5 seconds. Then you wish you had you sandal's on so you can get safely to your beach destination with out burning your feet. That was last year,,,I so want to feel the hot sand on my feet soon. Missed not going south this winter,,must make it a point to go there this year. My one sister that lives in Florida will only be down there for another year,,,then she shall become a Northerner again,,,after 20 something years,,,going to be a big change for her. From Miami to the woods. Another sister is moving from Minnesota to S.C. which is one of my favorite spots. I plan to retire there soon. In like 30 years. At the rate it seems my life is going before I know it it shall be there.///Heard a funny commercial the other day,,,it was a preview of a upcoming comedian special and this big black lady was on and said how she was celibate for 3 months now,,,yup she sells abit then gives some away,,very funny thought I sure hope I remember to catch her act//// Today was a pretty good day,,,fully packed and went fast,,,enjoyable thou- Up early,,,left one job at 6;50 (late due to YADDA)...Home for 10 minutes then to Post office. Good crew on,,,we all got breakfast and usual joking. I made a cake,,it's really weird how with a few changes of people really do make the atmosphere different. The rain held off for the most part to. Got done at a decent time,,,checked in with my other job,,,and boss needed the night off due to a early start on his part,,,me I really didn't want to work any more,,,so I asked the afternoon help to stay,,so I can enjoy being home for a change. We went out to a local restaurant and had a nice meal,,,got so filled up on the cup of soup and salad took most of my entree home,,,so supper is made for Sunday already. On the morrow getting up early...We are going to go on a hike, not sure where yet,,,then I am going to gym for 2 hours of me time. Them getting my Mom and taking her to see my patient and we will have a nice brunch,,,invited a couple others to join us so should be fun,,,hope thou to be back home by 4pm to fiddle around here,,,tonight it was nice,,,at the end of the evening there were fireworks,,could see them from the deck,,,almost made it seem like the beginning of the summer season. I tried to post a really neat shot I scanned from last year of my foot in the sand,,with the sea grass around it really looked cool from my photo engetic sorta eye by after 4 tries of down loading it to blog spot it freakin never came out,,,so no just trying to down load a picture of a foot print in the sand,,,only doing it once,,so if it doesn't take,,,slap me,,,enjoy all that you do,,or in my case attempt to do,,,Happy trails !!

The Day,,,May 11th

Well I am 8 day's away from buying him a birthday present. After a bunch of years you definitely run out of ideas of what to get a person. We went to lunch today and during the drive,,,yup he drove,,I thought about a gift certificate to anger management classes. He got so irate that the car in front of us going north was under the light and we had the green light going west. It was just a little girl driving,,,was probably like 21 years old,,,he reves up the car and starts aiming it at her. After my bitching at him ,,told him he can drive like a ass in his car,,not mine. His driving was making me nauseous,,,as I told him it was making me sick,,he then started driving worse out of meanness. I think the anger classes shall help him. I can't believe he sees nothing wrong or outa the loop with his behavior. My day started out late,,,had to get up at 5;45 to leave this job and head to my House hold Technician job and get there at 8am. Well it was 7;10 am by the time I dragged my but outa bed,,,and my patient had to get up and pee,,,for a 95 year old she has great bladder control,,,she knew I was running late and said just leave her till the next girl comes in at 7;30,,,(she is such a sweetheart),,but I got her up and she went for 12 minutes,,,,peed,,,stopped,,,peed,,,stopped and pissed again,,it was 7;35 by the time I jumped into shower. The other lady came in to relieve me,,,and she is nice in her own way but we are like totally different,,,she is 20 ish years older than I,,,very religious,,,,not a camping,,glass of wine,,,type of girl like me. I bought 2 bathing suits on line and hated them when I got them,,,I gave one to the lady that helps me more during the week,,,I went to give this chick the other one,,,and she says oh no,,,I don't wear those,,,I never swim,,,It was not a bikini,,,it was a freakin one piece,,,she definitely is one of those that only does it with the lights out. Any how I got to my tech job late and my boss there Allison,,left me a note,,,saying she had to start out early,,,her and my nephew (the dog) ,were walking and to come join them if I was in the mood,,,well as late as I was decided to walk up hill and tell her I was pressed for time,,,Hudson,,,my nephew,,(the dog) was so happy to see me. He really is a great dog,,,think I get along better wit him than my own dog at home. Didn't get to work out today,,,actually haven't worked out in 7 days,,,(hiking & kayaking don't count) but was glad when I got on the scale and lost 2 more pounds,,,,must be the water weight I loose while I am tanning. On to other yadda,,,,I need to change the template on the blog,,,I get comments,,,it goes straight to my yahoo email,,and when I check comments here I get zilch. Plus I really want my cartoon to be on the side,,,,and I am going to post a pic of me,,,well a body part,,,till then have fun and Happy Trails,,,,,,,The camp ground I stayed at was I think $17 a night,,,not really sure,,,we set it up in winter and I forgot how much I gave him:>),,,Oh,,,and if like HE reads this blog,,,,think about the anger management classes,,,before I gotta get my cousin Vinny to talk to ya!!

Reflections upon the day.....

My spelling is like crap...Couldn't for the life of me figure out how to spell reflections,,,to title this day's post...Finally got the spell check working on my laptop,,,but it doesn't cover the title. Today,,felt kinda like a weird day for me,,,I had a Dr. Appointment in am,,,,they moved the office of pain management,,,and had to drive threw a parking garage,,and park,,,parking garage falls into my catorgory of bridges and elevators....It's sorta like being a match in a book of matches,,,and your the one below all the rest. Any how made it ,,and saw the P.A. and now scheduled for a shot or like 3 of them in my spine in a month,,,then off work for a week,,,so another vacation in the works. I really need to win the lottery,,,my savings are dwindling,,,and I am tired of working,,,I want to camp, shop, garden, boat and go to the gym all the time,,,plus I need a manicure...I love my job here at the farm....but now as I try to go on line the Mexicans have spliced into the home phone line....And I can not get on line!!,,I spoke to the boss @this,,,,but guess I gotta explain to "peter" how I am on line and get cut off,,,and can not blog...And I wanna know Spanish,,,so I can ease drop on them,,,,perhaps I shall hear when they are coming to do me...ugh,,,I tried again and nadda,,,these people need to go to bed,,,the start work early,,,6am,,,(not I)actually these are great workers...up early,,,party to the minima,,,and clean folks,,,soon the Jamican's come,,,and need to watch out for the local hussy's coming to steal their green backs,,( it's a very pitiful scene,,,,a mother and daughter hooker team that frequents camps,,,,,well shall save this post,,,,can't get on line ,,,,shall note the time for Bitching to the boss,,,,decided they can use the phone from 5-8,,,,that's it,,,get a cell if needed. Blenheim Bridge

This is a shot I took inside the bridge. I usually will not walk on a bridge at all,,,fear of hieghts,

but I felt safe,,perhaps it was knowing there were walls around me helped. The dog and He stayed in the car,,,I think they were too scared to venture across. The bridge was built in 1857, by,,,Nicholas Powers from pittsford, Vermont. It is located in the town of N. Blenheim which is in Schoharie Co.

This is the camp....

We were right on the lake. This is North Lake up in Haines Falls, NY. A very nice location. I think we had the best spot on the whole lake. I kayaked all over the lake from North to South. And Monday for fun we decided to follow the yellow trail which goes all around both lakes...North and South,,,We had to be in the woods a bunch and for me that is scary,,,kept waiting to see a bear ,,but luckily for us there was none. At the south beach you can rent paddle boats,,,row boats and canoe's. The prices are very cheap,,,i think like between $10-$20 for the whole day. Only the paddle boats are by the hour,,,and that might be like $5- or $10. When we got back to camp,,,(finally) his Mom and her boyfriend were waiting for us with lunch and drinks,,,which was a nice surprise. I invited my 2 younger brothers up to see us but they were both off doing their own thing so It was nice to see some family. And we even had cell service up there. No animals besides the birds and ducks. But during the night the ducks ( 2 mallards) were making a ruckus,,,,it turns out there was a raccoon,,,and the only way we knew of it,,it got into the blazer and ate all the bread. Nice spot if any one is in that kneck of the woods I would recommend it. I will post more at a later date,,,for now I am home,,trying to unpack,,head to gym and get to work by 3pm. Camping,,,,Take 1

We started out Friday at 11 am. Packed up both blazers and drove around back to get the pop up. As we did that HE recalled he put the tow bar,,(hitch thing) on back of truck in the am and forgot to take it off and he drove a bunch and lost it. Time to scramble around and find new thingy hitch crap. It was hot out! Got one which really wasn't to hard to find being we have so many for all the various toys..Boats,,campers and such. He helped me load the Kayak on my blazer,,,time now is 12;30pm,,,we headed up to camp with numerous stops to see if the bikes were not swaying,,,and tied them down some more. Me I hated the noise the kayak sounded on the roof,,,going 60 and hearing the wind,,,had to crank the radio up so missed all his phone calls to me. We got up to the Lake by 2pm. It was beautiful, we had a great spot,,2 feet from the water. Set up camp and I kayaked around the Lake. Was so surprised it seemed so shallow to me...Crystal clear I could see bottom. I saw a Long Northern pike and from there decided to no longer look in water,,,to many scary movies thought the pike would want to overturn my vessel. I did venture from North to South lake admiring the scenery. Got back to camp and lounged by the lake reading a mag. Then I remebered I never picked up my BP meds from my local drug store,,, so we headed back to town to get my Toprol,,,stopped at house to get mail then back to camp,,,,it was 6;30,,,He started the grill and made a awesome supper,,,I so liked the part where he did all the work!! We then hung out in camper enjoying the view. Think we fell asleep at 10pm. The heat kicked on a bunch,,,,me I think I slept in middle of bed,,afraid of bears. Every time I coughed or laughed or farted was expecting a bear claw to come throw the pop up---we survied the first night. Woke up early at 6am---too early went back to bed,,,up at 9am,,to coffee purked and breakfast cooking,,,the aroma in the fresh air was so pleasant,,,different from the scents of the city. After breakfast and a shower we went on a hike in the woods,,,along a cliff where you had to sign in at a log book,,,bear warnings all around,,,think I was ok with it for 30 minutes,,till I started seeing possible bear hang outs and decided I was in there kneck of the woods,,,I wanted out---He laughed a bit called me a pussy till I demanded we get out of the freakin woods,,,I had such a eerie feeling there,,,it was pretty and all,,,just not the mall! Beauty is all around us

I just love this shot,,it's taking from the porch at " my farm". I started putting the pic on last night and posting,,but then I got busy yadding with my cyber buddy Mr. Bill. He is a hobby farmer who moved from the north to the south. Always interesting chat with him,,,,he is a computer Guru,,,lol,,,sorta like me,,,perhaps in my next life. Well heading camping in a few hours,,,am I packed and ready,,,not I the official procrastinator,,,I will rush around when I get home,,throw a bunch of stuff together,,,It only takes me 5 minutes to over pack. A four day trip,,means3 pairs of jeans,,,2 capri's,,,3 shorts,,,about 4 sweaters,,and 9 different shirts,,,heading to the mountains so 2 jackets,,,and all the undercrap. Boyfriend will take his toothbrush and a change of underwear. I have my kayak ready thou. There will be no cell service and no on line. Only us and the bears,,,,reminds me of that cereal commercial,,,where the guy is eating his cereal,,,and the chick yells bear and runs. I am all set I have my can of maise,,,issued by the postal service,,,10 years ago,,,I am sure it will work. Till next week...As sorta Mr. Roger's would say,,,see you then. May 3rd---another great day in the life of a polock

This shot is taken at the farm where I work. In front of the rhodadrens are lily of the valley,,they are almost ready to open up. Would have made a awesome shot if they were. Yesterday I did a 24 hour shift here,,and had fun taking pictures and down loading them on the pc for my patient to see. She was so amazed at all that you can do. Times sure have changed since she was young, she is 95 and 3 months old. We have had 2 nice days together,,,today we went riding on these back roads and saw a ennui,,,it was just strolling along having a grand time,,,shall post the pic of that at a later date. We hit Wally world today,,trying to find a present for one of the girls that works here,,,humm---I got 3 new shirts. It is hard finding large sizes for people,,,this chick is above the 20 size,,,I had one customer tell me I was in the wrong section,,,my clothes are over that way,,lol,,I explained I was shopping for someone else,,,my PT. Got a kick out of that. On to other pressing issues,,,my sister Margaret told me her husband took a job offer in S.C.----She and I was hoping for NY,,,shit we even had plans for the coming up Thanksgiving,,,that wipes the Idea of taking Mom there. All I can hope for is a better offer comes and they move closer.////Was reading yesterday's New York Post and see that "The Son of Sam",,,turned to religion,,,,and from prison has a web page up--"Son Of God",,,If I know for sure he won't ever be getting out shall check it out. But for now,,knowing all the tracker guru out there I am staying away,,,Twas a interesting article thou- check it out and tell me @ it,,,if you dare.////Was thinking today about all the people I have know and how for the most part they have had a good impact upon my life,,,and how and why they came to be. At the moment I was thinking about this person I knew and at a time we seemed close,,,but then I noticed the lies he told,,,which I couldn't figure out why they are lying to me,,,perhaps it is like a junkie getting there fix,,,or they just get a rush or high out of lying.....Then this person got into a mix up if you call it that, at work,,,,(think he was caught banging the owners wife),,,he totally denied it,,, I edited a lot of this,,,the following day,,,Thought some coments I mentioned are just better left alone////I am very thank full for my friends,,,Actually I am very thankful for a lot in my life,,I have a wonderful family that we are all very close,,,and a great job. And a lot of meaning full people in my life that make each day worth hitting that alarm clock and getting up to.
